SIGSLAV-sponsored events
In order to obtain SIGSLAV sponsorship for a workshop and/or conference, please submit an email to SIGSLAV address (shown above)
requesting sponsorship and providing a short description of the event, including information on: the objective, scope, targeted audience,
committees and web page (if applicable) of the event. In case of considering including SIGSLAV sponsorship in a workshop/conference proposal
planned to be submitted to other bodies (e.g. ACL) please simply send the draft of such a proposal to SIGSLAV.
SIGSLAV sponsorship requests will be jointly decided by the SIGSLAV chairs and the Advisory Board using the majority vote principle.
The members of the Advisory Board who are in a conflict of interest vis-a-vis a sponsorship request will be excluded from voting in such
cases.
Decision on the SIGSLAV sponsorship (including technicalities) will be communicated to the applicants not later than three weeks from the
time of submitting the request.
